Go Daddy’s Manifesto Supporting SOPA —
If you don’t know what SOPA is, check out the Wikipedia article on it or read Gizmodo’s Primer on the subject. Cliff notes version: a copyright holder can basically freeze a Paypal account of a web site without ever having to appear before a court to show cause.
Gizmodo has an excellent rebuttal of Go Daddy’s manifesto. If I weren’t already with Dreamhost (who I think is an excellent hosting company), I would switch to one of these other companies.
